Function Contract

Reserving the Date: a refundable deposit of $100 is required to guarantee the date requested for your event. All reservations booked are tentative until a contract is signed, and the required deposit is received.

Menu Selections: Selections must be submitted at least 14 days prior to your event. Doggie Bags are not permitted. The plated Entrée Selections must be pre ordered with an exact count of each entrée selection 10 days in advance.

Charges and fees: There will be a non-refundable room fee of $100 for functions. All prices are subject to 20% service charge. Massachusetts State Tax will be added to your total bill. The details of this can be explained by your function coordinator.

Guaranteed Number of Guests: An exact count of the number of attendees is required 7 days prior to your event and is the minimum number that you will be charged for your function.

Decorations: Any displays or decorations are subject to the approval of La Familia’s Management. Prior arrangements must be made for an agreed upon time for decorating.

Food: No food or beverage of any kind will be supplied, sold or served by anyone other the La Familia Restaurant staff. (Exception may made for cakes upon request, a plate fee of $1.50/pp will be applied). No food or beverage prepared by La Familia Restaurant is allowed to leave the facility.

Beverages: La Familia reserves the right to limit and control alcoholic beverages consumed by all guests. All guests consuming alcoholic beverages must be 21 years of age and be able to provide a valid ID upon request. There is to be no alcoholic beverages taken outside or brought into the building.

Liability: La Familia reserves the right to inspect and control private functions. Liability for damage to the premises or equipment will be charged accordingly. We cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought onto the premises.

Rental and Service Charges: Our Rooms are available for your function for 3 hours and can be Private or Semi Private dependingo n the numbero f expected guests. A$200 fee will be charged for any time guests stay over the signed agreement in the space. We have incoming reservations that we have to prepare for. Please consult with function coordinator for further information. We reserve the right tomake room arrangement changes should the expected number of guest change.
